Here are the new classes being offered in 2012 starting the week of March 26th and 27th.

Photography part 2 will be on Mondays and will run for 6 weeks.

Photoshop will be on Tuesdays and will run for 6 weeks.

Beginning Photography Class

Have a new camera? Learn how to use your new camera or improve the quality of photos taken with an older camera in this Beginning Photography class. The class will meet at the College Drive Campus. Participants will need a 35mm camera and film or a digital camera and memory card. Instructor Jennifer “JBird” Cremeans is an area artist and experienced instructor.

Class Fee: $65, and any film processing costs.

"Be a Pro" series workshop

"Your very first client-start to finish:

 

Do you enjoy photography so much that you want to take it to the next level but don't know how? Photography intructor j.Bird Cremeans has designed this class with you in mind! Guiding you from start to finish, J.Bird will show you how to select locations, post your client, price your work, and how to edit your pictures in Adobe Photoshop. A digital SLR camera capable of shooting in RAW format is required for this workshop as well as a card reading device to transfer your pictures onto the computer for editing.

Workshop will take place Saturday July 9th, times TBA.

Local photographer and instructor J.Bird Cremeans presents a workshop where you have an experienced professional right by your side to guide you through the process of p...hotographing your very own client. Students are encouraged to bring anyone they wish to photograph during a 30-minute session. Kids, babies, couples, or small families are welcome to attend along with the student as time allows. Put the camera in your hands and take charge! Backgrounds and equipment will be made available and students are required to bring their own camera equipment, memory cards or film, small props, and clientele. Spring and Easter will be the theme of the backgrounds and some props will be made available for each student's use. Prompt arrival for your scheduled time is required and it is recommended that your client is prepared to start on time as well. Information for" Be a Pro" Easter and Spring Photography workshop.

This is a new concept that I'm trying out. For a session fee you would normally pay another photographer for spring/Easter pictures, you pay me to be with you as you shoot your very own client and you get the pictures you want! Below is the description:

Capture the Moment - Holiday Photography

 

For the first time ever J.Bird Cremeans is offering a special workshop designed to prepare you for all those tricky holiday situations you've never been able to photograph before such as: Christmas trees, holiday displays, parades, family portraits, and more! Each student will receive a workbook containing all notes and projects learned in the class.

 

Any camera is welcome. Students should already have a basic understanding of the working functions of their camera. Extra batteries, memory cards/film, tri-pod, walking shoes, and warm clothes are recommended for this workshop. The 6-hour workshop will take place indoors and outdoors. Students will need to have transportation for any off-site locations.

 

Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. Class sizes are limited, so register today!

Adobe Photoshop

Learn the basics of this powerful program through hands-on training taught by an experienced Photoshop user. This class is ideal for anyone interested in photography, graphic design, photo restoration, digital scrapbooking and more.

Instructor: Jennifer “JBird” Cremeans, is an area artist and experienced instructor.

Mondays, October 18-November 22, 2010 - 6:30PM-8:00PM

Class Fee: $75.00

 

Advanced Photography

Students will work with live models and learn posing techniques and prop selections. On location classes will supplement the class focusing on composition and surrounding areas. Basic construction and use of studio lighting for models and products will be introduced as well. Students must already have a basic understanding of camera terminology in order to take this class (Beginning Photography class is a recommended pre-requisite).

Mondays, August 16-September 20, 2010 6:30-8:00PM

WOW. can't believe I haven't posted in so long. Here at the website, I'm going to post more of my students work as I teach photography classes. Have lot's built up that I need to place on here.
